Kroger Manufacturing Layton Dairy | 500 N.  Sugar St. Bldg. 4, Layton UT.

Responsible for all Reliability and Continuous Improvement efforts at the Layton Dairy (240 associates).  We were a pilot plant for a process we called TPC or Total Process Control.  We partnered with the Incito Consulting group to deploy TPC and have since realized a hard savings of over 2 million dollars.  We’ve transformed our production process to be driven by Self Directed Work Groups who are responsible to create and achieve goals that are in line with company initiatives to support plant and corporate goals and metrics. Other duties included developing our plant vision and strategic plan to achieve that vision. Trained in tools such as PDCA, SDCA, TQM, TQC, Self-Directed Work Groups, 5S, Gemba, Kamishibai, Standard Work, Hansei, Muda Elimination, Root Cause Analysis, DMAIC, Six Sigma, FMEA, RACI, Management of Change, Leader Standard Work, Nominal Group Technique, and EBITDA.
